Orr Scores Cup Winner

May 10, 1970
The Boston Bruins were up three games to none on St. Louis and entered Game 4 looking to end a 29-year Stanley Cup drought. The finale went into overtime. Bobby Orr, who had gone goal-less in the series, took a pass from Derek Sanderson and shot the puck past a sprawling Glenn Hall into the St. Louis cage. Tripped at the last moment by Noel Picard, Orr went flying through the air, his arms raised in celebration. This capped a remarkable campaign for the 22-year old Orr who a month earlier became the first defenseman to win the Art Ross Trophy.
